I whent to dollar tree yesterday and guess what I found! Maybeline  color tattoos, physicians formula gel eyeliners for brown eyes, Essie nail strips and physicians formula lip veil. This are some great finds. They where all a dollar I will post swatches from the products later so keep an eye out for my next post!

weekly faves 8/24/14

Hello everyone:

Thisis a quick blog on my daily faves this week.

i have ben loving my Naked basics from urban decay. I love naked 2 for days  that i am on the run. Justsomething to mattify my eye lids and that is all mascara  and eyeliner and I am all set.

My other favorite has been the lorac pro 2 this is my first lorac product and i love the formula it is so silky.my favorite colors are nectar an lt. brown well i love then all!

my last favorite for this week have been lip products from the dollar store. i found L.A colors chunky lip pencil  in pretty pink

and the lipstick in coral sheen

lovethe formula so far.

The new L'oreal collection Privee the perfect nude

Hello everyone:

How are you all doing? I am fine and happy to say that I finally got my hands on a good nude lipstick. Nudes tend to be intimidating. Either too light or too dark. Make you feel like your lips are gone or too big. It is a hassle. Thanks to L'oreal my nude lipstick prayers have been answered. 

They have created the perfect nude line thanks to a great color match by some beautiful women in the entertainment industry. The formula like always is nice and soft very hydrating and is a comfortable wear. Can't complain about L'oreal.

I thinks there are only 6 colors but I could be wrong the website mentioned six colors but they mention 7 women's name and the picture has 7 women and one of the lipstick I have is Jlo so I am missing Cheryl And I think that is Jane Fonda in the picture so they might have some more lipsticks out there and my local walmart only had six. I don't know but if ya know let me know.

Here is a picture of the lipsticks I have.

Here are some swatches of the colors on my lips. From lightest to darkest.

First is Doutzen's #600 is a nice light pink almost cotton candy like.

On my lips it looks like a lip gloss it is for a fair skin woman and on my dark pigmented lips you can't hardly see it.

Here is #620 Julianne's is a more Mauvy/ flamingo pink.

Then is JLo's  #370  a cream light pink color.

Then I it have the one that I think matches me the most in the nude department.

Eva's nude #610. It s a cream color like JLo's but is darker. I want to say more brown added to it.

Then is Frieda's nude # 350. It is a more purple tone frosty color.

And the last color is Liya's color #630 a more coppery brown. I really love this color it matches me beautifully.

There is a perfect nude for every skin tone. So go out there and search for it! No matter what brand you decide to go with.

Some tips for beautiful body!

Hello guys!

Today I am going to talk about some simple beauty tips that can help your skin and even your makeup.

1. Exfoliate- exfoliating helps skin get clear of dead skin, removes makeup and unclog pores. This not only helps your skin get minimize breakouts caused by makeup and dirt. But it also helps new makeup glide on smoothly.

2. Use a lip liner to help lipstick last longer and to hel avoid lipstick from feathering out of your lips.

3. Some castor oil on your eyelashes before you go to bed help lashes grow.

4.  All good things come to an end. All makeup products have an expiration date. Eye makeup in particular like mascaras are good only for three months. ouch! so get rid of that old makeup! This also works with Vaseline.

5. Moisturize. Using a moisturizer helps nourish the skin back after a wash.

6. Use sun protection using sun protection helps the skin against damaging uv rays. The sun is good but you still need to protect your skin from it. With that said also to much sun causes sun burn and that is damaging to the skin. Sun damage is also linked to skin cancer so be careful how much exposure to the sun you give yourself.

7. Excersise for a healthy body and mind.

8. Minimize stress. Stress causes some people to breakout with pimples and it causes wrinkles and that is the least of the problems stress can cause.

9. Sleep. Sleep helps recharge your body. Gives you energy and helps the body replenish it self. Do sleep the amount of hours recommended wish is 8.

And my last tip

10. Drink plenty of water. I know water can be a little dull some times but you can add lemons or any other fruit of your choice to give it some flavor. Drink 8- 10 glasses of water a day!

May favorites

Hello everyone:

This month sure has gone by quickly!

We are at the end of May. That means is time for my May favorites. So let's get this going. For starters eve since Mother's Day I have been loving my too face chocolate bar palette. 16 beauty colors a mix of mattes, and shimmers. And the smell is awesome. Love this palette!

My other May favorites were lipsticks I am happy to say that I have been loving the Maybeline blissful berry #410 , I like that beautiful plum color and the lipstick is very moisturizing. My other favorite has been my Rimmel London Kate. In # 104 I like the pinky nude color it gives my lips, it's my go to color. The last lip color I have been loving it's the Nyx butter lipstick in BLS17 pops explosif nice nude color and the formula soft moisturizing and lasts a good time on your lips. When the color is gone your lips still feel soft. 

The last May favorite for me was the EOS hand lotion in cucumber. This formula it's very hydrating and non greasy lasts a long time and the smell is refreshing! I love the EOS brand their products are awesome!

Lipstick tag!

Hello everyone:

Today I am doing my lipstick tag. I have seen a lot of YouTube people doing this so I decided to give it a try.

So let's get started!

1. Favorite balm/treatment?

    EOS lip balm. I think they make my lips soft and it last a long time on the lips. On winter when I get more chapped I pair it with a lip rose salve currently using C.O bigelow.

2. Best eye catching red?

   That will have to be my Wet n Wild Fergie A038 Saraghina. It is a blue tone red it goes great with my skin tone I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. 

3. Best luxury & best drug store?

    Ok I donot own any luxury lipsticks. You can say I just started my love for makeup 3 years ago! I have not branched out to the more expensive items yet.  My best drug store ones have to be my Revlon lip stick in 040 soft rose. It is like my lips but better type of color.

4.best MAC lipstick? You are all gong to laugh I only own one mac lipstick, one lip liner and one gloss. I went looking for candy yum yum and I tried it and I felt like my lips  were huge. So I went one shade down I bought impassioned. I truly love this color and it has given me the confidence to try candy yum yum and other bright colors!

5.  The most disappointing?

    It has to be the wet n wild megalast liquid lip color. I picked beautiful colors but it is too drying and I feel like it flakes off. It does last on the lips but I don't like the dryness it gives my lips.

6. Lip liner yes or no? I say yes I just started using nude lipsticks.  My lips are naturally pigmented darker than my face and when I wear nude lipsticks it matches my face making my lips disappear. So I have to add color to the nude lipstick so it looks like I have lips.

7. Best gloss? That would have to be the Nyx butter glosses. They are so hydrating and smooth feeling glosses I have ever tried.

8. Some thing extra! I have two I have hard candy's tinted lip balm in vampire bite and baby lips the one in the black packaging in berry something sorry the tube don't have the name.

Lazy Sunday ?

Hello everyone today's blog it's going to be different for once is not about makeup.

At lease most of it. This weekend I kind of relaxed a bit. I did lots of gardening which included dirt and slugs which I wish I would had taken some pictures of. 

My roses are blooming nicely. An I planted  on the ground a couple of petunias and carnations.

Today has been a day of showing my kids how to care for our garden. We also had some fun!

By the end of the day it was pedi time. So my sister started to fix our moms feet and  I did mine. This Sunday has been stress free and full of different experiences.
