May favorites

Hello everyone:

This month sure has gone by quickly!

We are at the end of May. That means is time for my May favorites. So let's get this going. For starters eve since Mother's Day I have been loving my too face chocolate bar palette. 16 beauty colors a mix of mattes, and shimmers. And the smell is awesome. Love this palette!

My other May favorites were lipsticks I am happy to say that I have been loving the Maybeline blissful berry #410 , I like that beautiful plum color and the lipstick is very moisturizing. My other favorite has been my Rimmel London Kate. In # 104 I like the pinky nude color it gives my lips, it's my go to color. The last lip color I have been loving it's the Nyx butter lipstick in BLS17 pops explosif nice nude color and the formula soft moisturizing and lasts a good time on your lips. When the color is gone your lips still feel soft. 

The last May favorite for me was the EOS hand lotion in cucumber. This formula it's very hydrating and non greasy lasts a long time and the smell is refreshing! I love the EOS brand their products are awesome!

Lipstick tag!

Hello everyone:

Today I am doing my lipstick tag. I have seen a lot of YouTube people doing this so I decided to give it a try.

So let's get started!

1. Favorite balm/treatment?

    EOS lip balm. I think they make my lips soft and it last a long time on the lips. On winter when I get more chapped I pair it with a lip rose salve currently using C.O bigelow.

2. Best eye catching red?

   That will have to be my Wet n Wild Fergie A038 Saraghina. It is a blue tone red it goes great with my skin tone I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. 

3. Best luxury & best drug store?

    Ok I donot own any luxury lipsticks. You can say I just started my love for makeup 3 years ago! I have not branched out to the more expensive items yet.  My best drug store ones have to be my Revlon lip stick in 040 soft rose. It is like my lips but better type of color.

4.best MAC lipstick? You are all gong to laugh I only own one mac lipstick, one lip liner and one gloss. I went looking for candy yum yum and I tried it and I felt like my lips  were huge. So I went one shade down I bought impassioned. I truly love this color and it has given me the confidence to try candy yum yum and other bright colors!

5.  The most disappointing?

    It has to be the wet n wild megalast liquid lip color. I picked beautiful colors but it is too drying and I feel like it flakes off. It does last on the lips but I don't like the dryness it gives my lips.

6. Lip liner yes or no? I say yes I just started using nude lipsticks.  My lips are naturally pigmented darker than my face and when I wear nude lipsticks it matches my face making my lips disappear. So I have to add color to the nude lipstick so it looks like I have lips.

7. Best gloss? That would have to be the Nyx butter glosses. They are so hydrating and smooth feeling glosses I have ever tried.

8. Some thing extra! I have two I have hard candy's tinted lip balm in vampire bite and baby lips the one in the black packaging in berry something sorry the tube don't have the name.

Lazy Sunday ?

Hello everyone today's blog it's going to be different for once is not about makeup.

At lease most of it. This weekend I kind of relaxed a bit. I did lots of gardening which included dirt and slugs which I wish I would had taken some pictures of. 

My roses are blooming nicely. An I planted  on the ground a couple of petunias and carnations.

Today has been a day of showing my kids how to care for our garden. We also had some fun!

By the end of the day it was pedi time. So my sister started to fix our moms feet and  I did mine. This Sunday has been stress free and full of different experiences.

Dollar Store Haul

Hello Everyone:

It has been a while since my last post, So I decided to do a dollar store haul and share it with you all.

So I found a couple of great items:


I found Physicians formula Blush in warm organics and one in pink organic not shown. I am excited to try  this brand. This is the first time I have owened this brand and I can't wait to try it!

 Another thing I got is this blotting papers. Like I mentioned in my YouTube channel every time I need blotting papers I don't have them with me. So hopefully i'll get to try them soon.

Finally I will be talking about this awesome nail strips. They were also a dollar and they had a good variety of strips to choose from I chose the flowers and stars. I have never tried nail strips so this will be a new experience for me.

Radiant Orchid

Hello everyone:

Today I will be talking about the color of the year! Radian orchid is is a fushia purple tone beautiful color to start the year with!

I have a couple of items in my makeup collection that have this color.

First is from Maybeline color vivid in #900 hot plum

The next one is  the same color but sheer it is also from Maybeline but it is a color whisper in #95 mad for magenta.

Beautiful sheer color easy to wear everyday, easy color line to let a pre-teen use. Gives color but it's is not to intense. 

Then I have Milani color stament  in 19 Raspberry rush

So far I love the intensity of this lipstick line it is phenomenal. It last a really long time! I recommend this line if you can't be re-applying your lipstick all the time.

Then I have Rimmelsmoisture renew lipstick in #520 violet pop.

Love the color it is monochrome so it looks a little more purple in the tube.

An lastly also by Maybeline is is from the color sensational it is #410 Blissful Berry

Yes it is a little darker but it also goes well with the color patern.

I also have a couple of nail polish.

February favorites!

 Ite,mHello everyone how are you all!

We'll I am doing fine enjoying this beautiful hot Sunday in March here in Georgia. For starters I began the squat challenge  and the abs challenge, day two. So far I am not tapping the mat! I'll let you all know how it goes.

But today I want to share with you my February favorites. I know it's a little late but having four kids equals chaos sometimes at my house.

My first item I am going to talk about it's the Maybeline volume express the falsies Big Eyes. This mascara has a great formula it has two wands on ether end. It has one side for the top lashes and one for the bottom.  I really like how the formula helps my lashes look big. I only have one problem I can't use the bottom lash wand cause I have like four hairs. Lol!

The next item I am going to be talking about are  lip products.One is the L.A. Lipstick on Sienna. It is a nice brick color with lite specks of gold loved it a lot this winter for darker look. The formula is relly soft and wearable. Doesnot have a funky taste to it. 

Another lipstick I have been wearing has been my Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in 025 sweetheart. I really really love the way this lip stain do what they say it lays a long time on my lips. It is a favorable smell and no funky taste to it neither. I really enjoy all of the colors I have from this line.

Ok my last items I use them every day. It is my EOS lip balm in summer fruit and my rose salve. I enjoy the EOS lip balm before I put lipstick every mormning it maintains my lips soft and helps lipstick apply smoothly. I also use it at night before I go to bed but I add my salve on top at night for longer ware. My lips are super smoth when I wake up!

Lastly are my favorites foundation  my Revlon nearly naked and my Garnier BB Cream.

I really like the lite coverage I get from both of this liquids. The Revlon nearly naked foundation it is great for every day wear light coverage that helps hide my freckles. The BB cream is also a light coverage it is a great thing in the morning when I am in a rush.  Both of this items I set them with the Revlon nearly naked powder.  My shade as you can see its medium/deep for the powder and BB and for the foundation 230 Nutmeg.

Dollar beauty

Hello lovelies:


I know I have been gone for a while. But I am back and this time I am talking about Dollar store or discount store beauty. I know you are probably thinking the dollar store but that is cheap. Yes, it is. The dollar store has a whole  lot of makeup that is of good/ fair quality and if you are on a minimalist budget  you really can have some make up.

Recently I went to the dollar store and got some useful goodies. I also had the opportunity to get some makeup/ beauty products that I am trying out right now that I can't wait to share with you all.

for starters some thing that you all can really use from the dollar store are cotton rounds. If you are like me, you go through a pack about every 3 weeks. They are good for removing make up, playing toner and even for first aid. Then I got some face mask which I had tried  the other rose one that is in the picture and two other but I had to get more. Not just because I liked them but having a teenage daughter equals more makeup and beauty products we can try. I also got some fake lashes. I tried this for my birth day and boy where they good for a dollar. It was my first time using fake lashes and I am hooked. Can't wait to try some more fake lashes. That gorgeous L.A. Colors lipstick was a bargain lip gloss and lipstick 2 in one. It is a comfortable wear. No awkward taste to the product and pretty pigmented. The none beauty products  I got where dog treats which they had a good label of items listed for my dogs. and head phones having a three and a one year old equals lots of head phones.

And at family dollars I just got some nail polishes that was I needed at the time. The brand L.A Colors it a pretty pigmented and affordable brand. 

So in conclusion what I am trying to say is although this products are of a dollar or they still help me with maintaining a beauty regiment. Don't get me wrong i still love high end makeup but with four kids. I can't always afford to get high end items. So explore your dollar or discount stores they some times have regular drug store items at a  discount price.
